The One World Project
Tonga is famous as a place to see Humpback whales. These are very beautiful creatures.

Humpback whales can be about 15 to 20 metres long and that is big. They come to Tonga to have babies between July and October. The water is warm there. Then they go back to the waters near the South Pole to feed. They do this each year.

The baby whales are called calves. The adult males sing songs.
