The Europeans also took over running the country. They had all the important jobs.
They thought they were better because the Maori had a simple lifestyle. But simple isn�t always bad is it?
The Europeans did introduce laws to stop fighting and killing but only after they had beaten the Maori and killed lots of them by fighting them. Sometimes I think humans are strange people.
