Teddy's World Wide Home
New Zealand is a very long country and quite narrow. It stretches from the top of the north island, where the next places you reach are some Pacific Islands, to the bottom of the south island, where the next land you come to is the ice covered Antarctic.

There are also big mountains running down the middle of the south island. Winters can be quite cold near the mountains and there is usually snow even in the big cities in the south. Meanwhile the north is warmer but can get heavy, almost tropical, rain. It can all be very different. That's fun.
